Qualifications

• Master's degree in Belgian Law; postgraduate degree or LL.M. in Real Estate, Construction Law or related field is a strong asset.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a lawyer with recognised expertise in construction law.
• Extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution relating to construction law and litigation.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in developing a practice and expanding client relationships.
• Desire and ability to lead, mentor and develop a team.

Responsabilités

• Advising clients on complex dispute resolution and litigation related to construction projects and public procurement contracts.
• Advising contractors, developers, public authorities and investors on contractual, regulatory and risk management issues.
• Developing and expanding the firm's Construction practice within the French-speaking Belgian market.
• Managing and growing relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Contributing to the firm's visibility through publications, conferences, seminars and industry events.
• Mentoring, coaching and supervising lawyers; contributing to leadership and strategic development of the practice.
