Keysight is seeking a Senior R&D Engineer to contribute to the next generation of computational electromagnetic solvers, focusing on FEM, MoM, FDTD, sparse solvers, and HPC. You will help advance the solver infrastructure for complex EM systems used across semiconductor and quantum technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Advanced degrees (Master's or PhD) are preferred.
• Strong experience in computational electromagnetics, electromagnetic simulation, or numerical modeling.
• Experience with one or more commercial EM simulation environments including ADS, EMPro, HFSS, CST, COMSOL.

Responsabilités

• Extend computational EM capabilities across Keysight simulation products.
• Develop scalable, production‑quality EM workflows for challenging multi‑scale problems.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to transform simulation methodologies into product features.
• Apply computational EM techniques to quantum technologies, superconducting devices, and cryogenic systems.
• Create validated application workflows demonstrating end‑to‑end design methodologies from layout through EM simulation and system‑level analysis.
• Improve scalability and performance of simulation workflows through efficient modeling strategies and HPC technologies.
