For a leading Belgian financial institution, we are looking for a Senior Compliance Consultant with a strong interest and advanced expertise in Artificial Intelligence.

This is not an IT Developer role.

We are seeking a seasoned Compliance professional who understands regulatory frameworks, financial crime prevention and compliance operations, while being able to leverage AI technologies to improve compliance processes, controls and decision-making.

The ideal candidate combines deep financial services compliance knowledge with a genuine passion for AI and emerging technologies.

Profile

We are looking for professionals who bring:

• Extensive experience within Compliance, AML, KYC, Financial Crime, Regulatory Affairs or Operational Risk.
• Strong understanding of the banking and financial services environment.
• Demonstrated interest and practical experience in Artificial Intelligence technologies.
• Ability to bridge business, compliance and technology teams.
• Experience with process improvement, automation or digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of AI Governance, Responsible AI, Model Risk or regulatory compliance relating to AI is a strong asset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English. French and/or Dutch are considered an asset.
