Guardsquare is seeking an experienced compiler engineer to join our iXGuard team. You will work on an LLVM-based software protection product designed to harden iOS applications against reverse engineering and tampering.

You will design and implement new code hardening techniques, test ideas, and contribute to a robust codebase. The role emphasizes independent work, task prioritization, and collaborating with an international team in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with LLVM tools and libraries.

• Strong command of low level programming and debugging practices.

Summary

We are looking for an experienced compiler engineer with a strong interest in software security to join our team working on iXGuard. Our LLVM-based software protection product focuses on hardening iOS applications against both static analysis and dynamic tampering.

The ideal candidate thrives on designing and executing new ideas for our next code hardening layer to counter reverse engineering techniques and runtime hooking. You make excellent use of the available flexibility in our team to test those ideas and experiment further. The person we are looking to hire strategically prioritizes tasks and actively improves our codebase. He or she is a disciplined and independent worker who takes pride in his or her work.

Profile
