ING Belgium NV/SA is seeking a seasoned COBOL/Mainframe Engineer to design, develop, and maintain critical applications across the Customer Data & Onboarding domain. You will work with business analysts, DevOps, and platform teams to ensure reliable, secure processes that handle onboarding, lifecycle events, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven COBOL development on IBM z/OS.
• Solid knowledge of JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM and batch processing.
• Experience in application maintenance, incident management and production support.
• Familiar with Agile/DevOps ways of working and source code management.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and maintain COBOL-based applications on the mainframe.
• Analyze business and regulatory requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Support customer onboarding and data management processes.
• Perform impact assessments, root cause analyses, and defect resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during project delivery and production support.
