Editx on behalf of a leading Belgian organization is seeking a Mainframe Developer (COBOL) to strengthen its IT team in Brussels. You will contribute to the development and evolution of strategic applications used internally and by a wide network of partners.

You will work autonomously across the full lifecycle, from analysis to production deployment, ensuring quality, performance and maintainability, while documenting technical solutions and collaborating with business and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with COBOL and mainframe development.
• Ability to work across backend development and system integrations.
• Produce technical documentation and contribute to platform evolution.

Responsabilités

• Analyze both functional and technical requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain existing COBOL applications.
• Contribute to evolution of platforms and integration of new solutions.
• Ensure quality, performance, and long-term maintainability of developments.
• Produce the required technical documentation.

• Work across back-end development, application interfaces, and system integrations.
