Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as Project Manager with end-to-end ownership of industrial CAPEX projects
• At least 7 years as Project Engineer in mechanical, electrical, piping or civil engineering
• Solid experience with pre-feasibility and concept studies, CAPEX budgeting, investment approval processes, and commissioning
• Experience in the process industry is required
• Strong hands-on MS Project skills and ability to build and own schedules
• Academic level with strong analytical capabilities and a broad overview

Responsabilités

• Lead industrial engineering projects from feasibility to commissioning and handover to operations
• Define and monitor scope, deliverables, budget, business case, investment approvals, and baseline planning in MS Project
• Coordinate all project phases: pre-study, concept, basic and detailed engineering, procurement, contractor selection, construction, site execution, commissioning, and transfer
• Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders and management
• Bring together multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, automation, piping, civil and EHS
• Manage scope changes, project risks, claims and deviations impacting cost or schedule
• Report progress, decisions and risks to steering committees and senior stakeholders

Complexe industriële CAPEX-projecten in een procesomgeving

Als Project Manager neem je de leiding over multidisciplinaire investeringsprojecten binnen een industriële procescontext. Je bent van begin tot eind verantwoordelijk voor scope, budget, planning, kwaliteit en veiligheid. Het gaat zowel om greenfieldprojecten als om ingrijpende aanpassingen aan bestaande installaties.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

• Je stuurt industriële engineeringprojecten aan vanaf haalbaarheids- en conceptstudies tot en met commissioning en de uiteindelijke overdracht aan operations.
• Je bepaalt en bewaakt scope, deliverables, budget, businesscase, investeringsgoedkeuring en de baselineplanning in MS Project.
• Je coördineert alle projectfasen: pre-study, conceptkeuze, basic en detailed engineering, procurement, contractorselectie, constructie, uitvoering op site, commissioning en transfer.
• Je fungeert gedurende het volledige traject als primair aanspreekpunt voor stakeholders en management.
• Je brengt interne en externe multidisciplinaire teams samen over mechanische, elektrische, automatiserings-, piping-, civiele en EHS-domeinen heen.
• Je beheert scopewijzigingen, projectrisico's, claims en afwijkingen met impact op kost of planning.
• Je rapporteert helder over voortgang, beslissingen en aandachtspunten aan stuurgroepen en senior stakeholders.

Your profile

Technical profile requirements

• You have at least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, with proven end-to-end ownership of industrial CAPEX projects.
• You also bring at least 7 years of experience as a Project Engineer in disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, piping or civil engineering.
• You have solid experience with pre-feasibility and concept studies, CAPEX budgeting, investment approval processes and the commissioning of industrial installations.
• Experience in the process industry is required.
• You have strong hands‑on expertise in MS Project and are used to building and owning project schedules, not just tracking them.
• You work at academic level and combine strong analytical capabilities with a broad helicopter view.

• You work autonomously and take full ownership of your assignments.
• You demonstrate strong leadership and can challenge stakeholders and contractors when necessary.
• You communicate confidently with stakeholders at every organisational level.
• You bring natural authority to complex industrial environments.

Methodology / certification requirements

• VCA-Vol is mandatory.
• PMP / Prince2 is a plus.
