Job summary

HR Pay Solutions is seeking a Business & Solution Architect to translate strategic ideas into practical architectures and roadmaps. You will connect business needs with technology, shaping operating models, applications and data architectures for major initiatives.

You will assess the landscape, identify reusable capabilities, and guide build-versus-buy decisions while ensuring alignment with risk, compliance and cost considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Business Engineering, IT, CS, Economics or related field, or equivalent expertise.
• 5 years of relevant experience in architecture: business, solution, or enterprise.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Experience with software selection, RFPs, vendor assessments and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Experience in financial services, payments, fintech or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategy into coherent business, process, functional and solution architectures.
• Design target operating models clarifying processes, responsibilities, users and systems.
• Define solution, application, integration and data architectures for initiatives.
• Assess current landscape, identify reusable capabilities and gaps.
• Guide RFPs and vendor selection with substantiated recommendations.
• Explain how initiatives fit into broader ecosystem and dependencies.
