Job summary
Inetum is seeking a Senior Business Controller / Finance Business Partner to partner with Business Unit Directors and report to the Finance Director. This role drives budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning while challenging performance and ensuring strong financial governance.
You will lead monthly close, develop dashboards, and support senior stakeholders. Experience with SAP, TM1, and Power BI is valued, and fluent Dutch, French and English are preferred for this international
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Controlling, FP&A or a similar finance partnering role.
- Experience within a large international and corporate environment.
- Experience within the IT, Technology or Professional Services sector is considered a strong asset.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and business analysis.
- Comfortable communicating with senior management and C-level stakeholders.
- Able to challenge, influence and support the business in a constructive manner.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial topics in a clear and accessible way.
- Experience leading discussions, driving alignment and ensuring stakeholders take ownership of actions.
- Strong interest in finance transformation, automation and AI-driven processes.
- Experience with SAP is highly desirable. Knowledge of TM1, Power BI and other reporting tools is a plus.
- Fluent in Dutch, French and English. Strong Dutch language skills are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Act as a Finance Business Partner for designated business areas.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes.
- Analyze business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Present financial insights and performance results to senior leadership and C-level stakeholders.
- Drive the monthly closing and reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Develop and improve reporting dashboards and management information.
- Challenge business assumptions and actively contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Support business leaders in understanding financial performance and key financial drivers.
- Coach and educate non-financial stakeholders on financial processes, reporting requirements and financial best practices.
- Take ownership of finance-related initiatives and guide stakeholders through process improvements and change.
- Contribute to the ongoing SAP implementation and future automation and AI-driven Finance initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting and operational efficiency.
