ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS in Brussels is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to join a major business transformation program. You will work with business stakeholders, project managers, developers and other analysts to deliver, refactor and evolve critical applications.

In this role you will translate business requirements into functional specifications, document processes, and contribute to an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Functional and Business Analysis.
• Strong knowledge of UML and BPMN.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with requirements gathering, functional specifications and user story creation.
• Strong understanding of test analysis and test design.
• Good knowledge of SQL and data modelling concepts.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• A structured and analytical mindset, with the ability to quickly understand complex business environments.
• A solution-oriented and customer-focused approach.
• The ability to work independently while integrating easily into an existing team.
• The ability to guide or support more junior analysts when required.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different business contexts.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain relationships with business stakeholders, project stakeholders, team managers and partners.
• Identify, analyse and document existing business processes and new business and functional requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional solutions, functional analyses and application designs.
• Work closely with technical teams to validate functional designs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Follow the end-to-end delivery of new functionalities and applications, from analysis through implementation and validation.
• Produce the documentation required throughout the different project phases.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to refine, validate and improve proposed solutions.
• Work closely with Project Managers to report project status, facilitate decision-making, manage risks and escalation issues when required.
• Contribute to an Agile/Scrum environment and supporting the continuous improvement of project delivery practices.

ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS is looking for an experienced Senior Functional Analyst to join a major business transformation program in Brussels and contribute to the delivery, refactoring and evolution of business-critical applications.As a Senior Functional Analyst, you will work within a large and experienced delivery environment, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, project managers, developers and other analysts.

Your Mission

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders, project stakeholders, team managers and partners.
• Identifying, analysing and documenting existing business processes and new business and functional requirements.
• Translating business requirements into functional solutions, functional analyses and application designs.
• Working closely with technical teams to validate functional designs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Following the end-to-end delivery of new functionalities and applications, from analysis through implementation and validation.
• Producing the documentation required throughout the different project phases.

• French or Dutch: active professional knowledge, including speaking, understanding, reading and writing technical documentation.

• Knowledge of the second Belgian national language is considered a strong asset.

Due to the nature of the activities, Belgian nationality is required.
