Soleras is seeking an experienced backend software developer to strengthen the Synaps platform, a software solution used to control and monitor high-tech PVD coating production lines. The role focuses on designing, building, testing, and maintaining robust backend modules and APIs.

You will translate customer requirements into scalable solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and uphold engineering best practices while supporting international customers and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a technical software environment.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend modules for the Synaps platform.
• Translate technical and customer requirements into robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Contribute to API design, data models, authentication, system integration, and backend architecture.
• Improve software quality through code reviews, automated testing, observability, and engineering best practices.
• Work closely with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, engineering stakeholders, and subcontractors.
• Act as a bridge between the industrial application domain and the core software engineering effort.
