Videntra is seeking a hands-on Senior Backend Engineer with strong Python experience and Scrum Master responsibilities. You will lead backend architecture across multiple products, building secure, scalable platforms and real-time systems with WebSockets and streaming updates.

You will design APIs, handle content ingestion and processing pipelines, and own reliability, performance and production readiness. Go experience is a plus, and collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Expert-level Python development and design.
• Strong experience with FastAPI and Pydantic; Go experience is valued.
• Experience with real-time systems, WebSockets/SSE and asynchronous architectures.
• Design APIs, distributed systems, events, queues and background jobs.
• Content ingestion, media/document processing, indexing and search.
• Knowledge of MongoDB, SQL, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch and Redis.
• Object storage and large-file processing workflows.
• IAM, authentication, authorization and security.
• High availability, low latency, scalability and fault tolerance.
• Async processing, concurrency, retries, idempotency, caching.
• CI/CD, testing, monitoring, logging and performance optimization.
• Agile/Scrum and engineering delivery.

Responsabilités

• Lead backend architecture and development across multiple products.
• Build highly available Python APIs and services.
• Design real-time systems including WebSockets/SSE and streaming updates.
• Develop content ingestion, media/document processing and indexing pipelines.
• Create event-driven architectures with queues and background jobs.
• Design robust APIs and integrations with internal and external services.
• Implement IAM, authentication, authorization and security controls.
• Design scalable object-storage and large-file workflows.
• Own backend reliability, performance, observability and production readiness.
• Contribute hands-on to codebase and provide technical leadership.
• Support sprint planning and help the team remove delivery blockers.
