Lighthouse is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer in Ghent, Belgium, to build our core pricing manager system. You will develop distributed services, APIs, and infrastructure powering pricing recommendations, collaborating with data science engineers and product managers.

You’ll work in a cross-functional squad across Go and Python, and use Claude Code to accelerate development. Join a team delivering real-time insights for hospitality at scale.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development experience in Go or Python/Django.
• Experience building distributed services and APIs.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools like Claude Code and integrating them into workflows.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain backend services for the pricing manager system.
• Build distributed services, data pipelines, and autopilot infrastructure.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional squad to deliver features from concept to deployment.
• Influence service boundaries, data ownership, and technical tradeoffs.
• Contribute to frontend code when needed and ensure system reliability and performance.
