BDO Belgium in Gent/Roeselare is seeking a Senior Auditor to oversee complex audit projects, build strong client relationships, and deliver technical excellence across diverse clients, from multinationals to startups.

You will guide junior colleagues and stay ahead of evolving audit standards through BDO Academy and external training, while maintaining a flexible working arrangement that suits your schedule.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Economics or Business Engineering, with additional financial-economic qualifications being a strong asset.
• At least 2 years of audit experience, with strong technical and client management skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; additional languages are valued.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex audit projects – Be the go-to person for your audit clients and lead challenging audits.
• Build strong client relationships – Tell clients what they need to hear and build professional relationships.
• Deliver technical excellence – Develop audit procedures, prepare working papers, meet high professional standards.
• Guide colleagues – Share knowledge with junior colleagues and develop leadership abilities.
• Stay ahead of the curve – Leverage BDO Academy and external training to keep up with standards.
