The Chemours Company in Newark, DE, is seeking a Senior Associate Chemist to join our Thermal & Specialty Solutions team. This position will be available at the Chemours Discovery Hub and focuses on advancing laboratory research in a fast-paced environment.
You will perform organic synthesis, operate and maintain lab equipment, run analyses (GC-MS, NMR, IR), document results, and ensure quality control in collaboration with senior chemists.

Chemours is seeking a Senior Associate Chemist to join our growing Thermal & Specialty Solutions team. This position will be available at the at the Chemours™ Discovery Hub in Newark, DE.
In Thermal & Specialty Solutions, we harness next-generation, low-Global Warming Potential (GWP) technology to provide market driven innovations to customers in the areas of Refrigerants, Propellants, Fire Protection, Foam Blowing Agents used in various systems for building and construction segments, and Mobile and Stationary heating and cooling systems. Our technical organization consists of experts in the areas of fluorine, catalysis, process development, analytical and formulation science, and application development to name a few.
This highly visible, key role will support R&D projects within the Thermal & Specialty Solutions business with specific focus on Process Development, process scale-up and support for commercial-scale manufacturing, and existing plant support.
