Imec.IC-link in Leuven, Belgium is seeking an experienced ASIC Solution Architect to shape winning technical proposals and guide customers toward silicon solutions. You will lead end-to-end offer generation, define project architectures, coordinate design, packaging, test and manufacturing, and ensure coherence for turnkey proposals while driving cost and performance improvements.

relocation to Leuven required.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in one of the core ASIC domains (design, test, packaging or manufacturing).
• Strong system-level thinking with ability to craft end-to-end solutions.
• Creative and strategic problem-solving skills for competitive architectures.
• Solid understanding of the semiconductor ecosystem including suppliers and manufacturing flows.
• Experience with cost modeling for both NRE and volume manufacturing and its commercial impact.
• Excellent communication skills for interactions with customers, Business Development and engineering teams.
• Ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation for pre-sales activities.
• Collaborative mindset and a results-driven attitude for executable, winning proposals.

Responsabilités

• Lead the end-to-end technical offer generation process across design, test, packaging and manufacturing.
• Define the project architecture of ASIC solutions, selecting technologies and cost drivers.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to build executable and optimized solutions.
• Drive cost and performance optimization to meet target pricing and margins.
• Support Business Development in customer engagements and pre-sales discussions.
• Create high-quality technical collateral like architecture descriptions and technology briefs.
• Ensure coherence for turnkey proposals and drive process improvements.
