ENGIBEX, a Belgian engineering consulting firm, seeks a seasoned electronics engineer to lead ASIC testing planning and qualification with clients. You will define project work packages, coordinate with the Project Manager, and drive cost-improvement plans from prototype to volume production.

The role emphasizes HTOL, HAST, TC, ESD qualification tests, and hands-on tester experience, with strong English communication and client-facing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronics with >5 years in ASIC testing.
• Experience with HTOL, HAST, TC, ESD, LU or similar qualification tests.
• Project-based experience and customer focus.
• Fluent English required; hands-on tester experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Define work package scope and overall planning with Project Manager.
• Set up ASIC test solutions with the test house.
• Discuss prototype-to-production ramp plans with customers and qualification steps.
• Propose cost-improvement, yield enhancements and multi-site test options with customers and test houses.

Job Description

• The definition and overall planning of the work packages of the different project stages, together with the Project Manager.
• Setting up the ASIC test solution with the test house.
• Discussing the ASIC prototype-to-production volume ramp plan with the customer including characterization & qualification.
• Organizing volume production after the volume ramp phase. You propose cost improvement plans such as yield improvement plans, multi-site test solutions and different packaging options together with the customer and test house.

Profile / Requirements

• A Master's degree in Electronics, preferably with more than 5 years of relevant experience in the areas of ASIC testing.
• Experience with ASIC qualification such as HTOL, HAST, TC, ESD, LU, etc.
• Experience in project-based work.
• Pro-active and customer focused.
• Good knowledge of English is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with testers is a plus.
