Melexis, a leading Belgian high-tech company, is seeking an Associate Application Engineer to build production-level embedded software for advanced motor control and related systems. You will develop, validate and document solutions that help customers apply Melexis products in real world applications.

Joining a dynamic, international environment, you will acquire deep product knowledge, author application notes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering master's degree in electronics or microelectronics.
• Experience in low level or bare-metal embedded systems and SW development.
• Programming in C and Python.
• Good understanding of control theory.
• Good understanding of discrete electronics circuits.
• Effective English communication.
• Willingness to travel frequently (20%).

As an associate application engineer at Melexis, you build strong technical expertise on Melexis products and enable Melexis customers to use them.

More specifically, you will:

• Develop production-level embedded SW for advanced motor control and embedded systems
• Acquire system knowledge and participate in the validation of innovative hardware and software solutions
• Follow market trends and customers' needs.
• Author application notes and system documentation.

Your profile

• An engineering master's degree in an electronic or microelectronic field
• Experience in low level or bare-metal embedded systems and SW development
• Knowledge of programming languages like C, Python
• Good understanding of control theory
• Good understanding of discrete electronics circuits
• Effective communication skills in English
• Willingness to travel frequently (20%)
