ThoughtLabs Belgium seeks a Senior Angular Developer to own frontend architecture and UI development for a flagship EU Parliament project in Brussels. You will drive automated testing, collaborate with backend teams on Java/Spring Boot microservices, and ensure WCAG and security compliance for scalable web solutions.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years’ experience with Angular/TypeScript and immediate availability for hybrid deployment in Brussels.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT with 8+ years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Angular (Angular 14+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/Sass.
• Solid background in Software Testing, QA methodologies, and test automation.
• Extensive experience building responsive, enterprise-scale SPAs.
• Strong RESTful API integration and asynchronous programming knowledge.
• Familiarity with state management (NgRx/Akita).
• Hybrid/onsite project delivery in Brussels.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications with Angular and TypeScript.
• Lead component architecture, state management, RxJS, and responsive UI engineering.
• Perform unit/integration testing (Jasmine/Karma/Jest) and end-to-end testing (Cypress/Playwright).
• Integrate frontend with Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
• Adhere to WCAG accessibility and cybersecurity guidelines for EU portals.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and EU stakeholders in Brussels.
• Optimize performance, bundle sizes, network payloads, and rendering speeds.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and mentor junior engineers.
• Maintain technical docs, architecture blueprints, and test coverage reports.
• Ensure timely delivery under the Brussels public sector contract (€520/day).
