Datashift is seeking a senior Analytics Engineer to transform raw, messy data into clean, tested datasets that empower smarter business decisions across the Benelux. • 4–6 years of Data/Analytics Engineer experience, including cloud environment exposure.
• Ability to approach projects end-to-end with a data perspective.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required.

Responsibilities

• Data Modeling — design data models that reflect business processes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration — align with analysts, BI teams, and business leaders to extract value.
• dbt — write and test dbt models to transform raw data into trusted assets.
• Data Testing & Quality — build automated tests to detect anomalies in data flows.
• Documentation & Governance — create semantic layers and metric definitions for governed data.
• Knowledge Sharing — mentor colleagues on data modeling patterns and best practices.
