Staff Analog Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer

The Role

We are looking for a Staff Analog Mixed-Signal Engineer with extensive industrial experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design. You will take technical ownership of analog circuitry, combining hands‑on circuit design with technical leadership, system‑level definition, verification support and collaboration across design, layout and digital teams.

Key Technical Expertise

• Extensive industrial experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design.
• Strong expertise in analog circuit design for PMIC applications, including:
  • Voltage and current references
  • Amplifiers
  • Comparators
  • Filters
  • Temperature and voltage sensors
  • Oscillators
  • Voltage clamps
• Strong knowledge of high-speed analog design, particularly:
  • PLLs
  • DLLs
• Strong high-voltage BCD technology expertise.
• Ability to select components based on voltage, current, speed and thermal considerations.
• Experience mitigating noise and EMI in analog circuits.
• Understanding of and ability to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including EMI/EMC and safety requirements.
• Fluent hands‑on experience with Cadence Virtuoso Schematic Editor and ADE Maestro (Assembler & Explorer).

• Comfortable working with circuit topologies outside your immediate area of expertise, applying fundamental analog design principles across different circuit types.
• Able to design a wide range of analog circuits from scratch based on defined specifications.
• Able to support the verification team in debugging measurement and/or yield-related issues.
• Demonstrates a strong willingness to share technical knowledge and collaborate across teams to improve overall quality and execution.
• Able to define layout constraints and verify that layouts meet the required quality standards.
• Excellent critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills.

• Contribute to the successful realisation of projects as part of a design team.
• Independently design assigned circuit topologies to meet defined specifications within the planned timeframe.
• Support other design engineers in resolving complex design challenges.
• Drive the successful realisation of the layout, working closely with the layout team.
• Share design experience and technical knowledge with co‑developers and other designers.
• Support the Project Leader during the definition and design phases in a technical lead capacity.
• Lead teams, establish priorities and timelines, and ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Perform high-level system verification and support Verification Engineers in debugging activities.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration of analog and digital components.

• Contribute to continuously improving the effectiveness of the QMS.
