InTouch is building AI-enabled mobility solutions for cities, with a focus on scalable Java-based platforms. As Solution Engineer, you own complex domains, drive architecture, and mentor engineers while guiding migrations from legacy systems to modern stacks.

The role sits in Leuven/Sint-Truiden with a hybrid work model and a strong emphasis on engineering excellence. You’ll work across full stack, shape workflows, and partner with teams to deliver reliable, future-proof solutions for traffic

Qualifications

• 5+ years building scalable Java solutions with Spring/JEE ecosystems.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design and complex domain modeling.
• Solid platform foundation knowledge: Kubernetes, GitOps, cloud (Azure).
• Experience leading transformation projects including legacy migrations.
• Demonstrated AI-native development and context engineering experience.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end ownership of projects or domains, with a clear technical and product vision.
• Mentor and coach junior and medior engineers; foster a no-blame culture.
• Raise engineering bar with tests, code reviews, and observability.
