Job summary

Intact is seeking a Senior Applied AI/ML Engineer to build the intelligence layer for its TIC platform. You will work in cross-functional squads, turning proprietary data into reusable data products and deploying AI solutions from prototyping to production.

You will design end-to-end AI workflows, ensure scalability and explainability, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed intelligence into workflows used by customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building software, including at least 2 years shipping ML/LLM systems to production.
• Excellent Python and software engineering practice (testing, code review, CI/CD).
• Strong ML fundamentals: trained, evaluated, and deployed classical models (classification, forecasting, anomaly detection).
• Degree in computer science, machine learning, data science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AI solutions across our core product, from RAG and document understanding to agentic workflows and predictive models.
• Work across the full lifecycle, from solution design and prototyping through to integration, deployment and continuous improvement.
• Turn proprietary TIC data into reusable data products, collaborating with Data Engineers.
• Build MLOps pipelines moving models from notebooks to production.
• Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, explainable and cost-effective.
• Prove models do what they claim with evaluation datasets, metrics and regression tests.
