Job summary

Intrum is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to design, build, and scale AI-powered solutions in production across multiple countries. This role blends hands-on engineering with cross-functional collaboration in a regulated enterprise setting.

Senior candidates will shape architectural direction and set technical standards while advising across markets. You will contribute to both solution delivery and standardization of AI practices.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience building and operating production‑grade systems.
• Exposure to AI/ML or LLM‑based solution development.
• Experience working in structured, multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Strong communication skills and a high level of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale AI‑powered solutions in production.
• Integrate LLMs into enterprise systems.
• Develop reusable patterns and components.
• Partner with Infrastructure / LLMOps to deploy models and prompts, including observability and governance.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines for AI services and artifacts and manage versioning across environments.
• Collaborate with local market teams for scalable, repeatable deployments.
• Contribute to engineering standards and best practices for AI at scale.
