La Fosse is seeking a senior AI/ML engineer to design and operate production-grade GenAI systems in Brussels, Belgium. You will implement RAG-based retrieval, agentic AI workflows, and model fine-tuning using LoRA/QLoRA while scaling across AWS/Azure/GCP.

Responsibilities include deploying vector databases, orchestrating LLMS with LangChain and friends, and ensuring robust ML operations with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL with production query experience.
• Experience with at least two Generative AI components, including RAG solutions.
• Agentic AI workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar.
• Model fine-tuning and PEFT techniques, including LoRA and QLoRA for open-source and proprietary models.
• Deployment and management of vector databases in production: Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, pgvector, FAISS.
• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar.
• Strong foundation in traditional ML: feature engineering, model selection, experimentation, evaluation.
• Proven cloud engineering across AWS, Azure, or GCP incl. deployment, scaling, cost optimization (SageMaker, Azure ML, Vertex AI).
• Solid software engineering practices: clean code, modular design, testing (pytest/unittest), Git workflows.
• Experience with MLOps/DevOps tools, especially Docker and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Workflow orchestration tools: Airflow, Prefect, Dagster.
• Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Familiarity with AI monitoring/observability tools: Langfuse, Arize, MLflow, Weights & Biases.
