Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
• 7+ years in accounting, financial reporting, audit or finance leadership.
• Experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP and IFRS.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch valued.

Responsabilités

• Oversee accounting processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense management, treasury operations, and financial reporting.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely statutory and group financial reporting in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
• Supervise reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and journal entries.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes and provide insightful management reporting.
• Coordinate preparation of statutory financial statements and manage relationships with external auditors.
• Support internal and external reporting requirements and governance processes.
• Monitor and enhance the effectiveness of financial controls and governance processes.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to cross-functional and transformation projects.
