Job summary

Grant Thornton België is seeking a Senior Accountant to serve as a trusted advisor to Belgian SMEs, establishments and multinationals. You will prepare interim statements, annual reports, VAT and tax returns, and participate in tax audits.

You’ll work autonomously, develop your expertise, and grow into more complex dossiers while supporting cross-selling initiatives. You will join a dynamic team with flexible hours and opportunities to travel to client sites and offices, aiming to deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy-Finance or Master's in this specialization.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a consultancy or accountancy firm.
Team player with strong communication skills in Dutch, French and English.
Sense of responsibility and customer service oriented.
Willingness to travel to client sites and offices.

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor for clients, available for tax and financial questions.
Support clients in drawing up interim statements and annual reports for Belgian and international clients.
Manage books for various companies and prepare VAT and tax returns, and attend tax audits.
Work autonomously to handle assignments and grow into more complex cases.
Contribute to cross-selling and business development.
Get coached to obtain ITAA and handle increasingly challenging dossiers.
