Job summary

Grant Thornton België is seeking an experienced supervisor accountancy to serve as a trusted advisor to diverse clients. You will draw up interim statements and annual reports for Belgian and international companies, keep detailed accounts, and handle VAT/tax returns while supporting tax audits.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with the manager, and pursue cross-selling opportunities, all while delivering excellent service and growth opportunities within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy-Finance or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in consultancy or accountancy.
• Team player with strong communication in Dutch and English.
• Sense of responsibility and excellent customer service mindset.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and offices.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor for clients and respond to tax and financial questions.
• Support clients in drawing up interim statements and (annual) reports for Belgian and international clients.
• Keep accounts for multiple companies and prepare VAT and tax returns, attend tax audits.
• Provide well-founded advice and create added value for customers.
• Support the manager and supervise junior and senior colleagues; cross-sell where appropriate.
• Develop ITAA qualifications and tackle increasingly challenging dossiers.
