Asteria HR Group in the Brussels region is looking for a Senior Accountant to join an international finance environment. You will own the month-end closing process and help structure the end-to-end accounting cycle, collaborating with controlling, business finance, and external advisors.

You will drive digitalization and automation initiatives, act as a key business partner to colleagues and external stakeholders, and contribute to taxation, reporting, and international operations.

• You lead process improvement initiatives across accounting, reporting, and audit activities, while actively supporting digitalization, automation, and optimization projects.
• You act as a key business partner for colleagues and external stakeholders, analyze financial risks, and support complex matters related to taxation, reporting, and international operations.

Job description

You will join an international finance environment with operations across several European countries. Based in the Brussels region, the accounting team supports multiple entities and works closely with controlling, business finance, and external advisors. English serves as the primary working language.

This Senior Accountant position goes beyond traditional accounting. You will take on a central role in the month-end closing process, bring structure to complex accounting operations, and have the opportunity to drive digitalization, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
