Job summary

Imec in Leuven, Belgium, is seeking a SEM-TEM Hardware Assistant Technician to monitor tool health and assist internal users. You will liaise with suppliers, help maintain equipment performance, and contribute to process development at wafer scale.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, hands-on lab/tool experience, and the ability to work in a shift rotation including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with lab tools or microscopy equipment is advantageous.
• Ability to plan, multitask and work in a fast-paced setting.
• Good English communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in early/late/night shifts and weekends on a rotation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health and performance of SEM and TEM tools.
• Serve as main contact with equipment suppliers for issues.
• Be the first internal contact for tool health or performance queries.
• Support hardware KPIs and statistical process control activities.
