WLG in Brussels is seeking a security programme professional to lead cross‑functional planning and delivery for a major defence capability project on site in Brussels. You will work with headquarters, agencies and end users to shape security plans and ensure compliance across multiple project groups.

Travel extensively to host nation sites, support the programme director with stakeholder engagement, and review policy and classification guidance to keep teams aligned with alliance practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher required.
• Experience in programme or project management under a governance model.
• Experience with technical communications or secure infrastructure projects.
• At least three of the last ten years in stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Fluent professional English.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with headquarters staff, agencies, stakeholders and end users to develop security plans and monitor their implementation across project groups.
• Ensure plans are understood and followed by all involved.
• Travel frequently to host nation sites to coordinate progress, conduct site surveys and provide technical guidance.
• Support the programme director on site with stakeholder engagement and communications at political, operational and tactical levels.
• Identify requirements, policy developments and publish reviews relevant to the programme.
• Coordinate with security, policy and operations to keep the programme aligned with alliance practice.
• Review and update security policy, documentation and classification guides; draft sections of capability programme plans.
• Assist in managing classified material.
• Develop and deliver presentations and training on security procedures.
• Keep all work strands linked to the broader office and other capability teams.
