Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Service Security Support Engineer in Belgium to maintain and repair CCTV, access control, intrusion, and EAS systems for major clients. You will troubleshoot issues, upgrade installed bases, and remotely support technicians while coordinating with suppliers.

The role is based in Groot-Bijgaarden with travel to customer sites across Belgium. The ideal candidate has a technical education (A1/A2) in Electrical/Electromechanical/Electronics, with certifications such as

Qualifications

• A technical education (A1/A2 in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Electronics) or equivalent experience.
• VCA, BA5 and MEWP certifications are valued assets.
• Fluency in Dutch and French, plus good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance on security systems at customer sites.
• Handle and resolve service calls and fault reports.
• Install modifications and extensions on existing systems.
• Maintain customer contact and provide technical advice.
• Perform minor commissioning activities for new installations based on experience.

As a technical expert, you will troubleshoot issues related to CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) systems. In addition, you will contribute to the upgrade and modernization of our existing installed base by implementing the latest security solutions.As a technical specialist, you will also provide remote support to technicians and customers. You will assist in configuring new installations and train technicians to further develop their knowledge and skills in security systems. Furthermore, you will act as an important link between our organization and the technical departments of our suppliers, ensuring optimal cooperation and coordination.Our office is located in **Groot-Bijgaarden**, but you will primarily work at customer sites throughout Belgium. You will be part of a national team of experienced colleagues who are always ready to support one another.
