Job summary

Ariad seeks an IT Lead to guide a 3‑person IT engineering team, advise the client as a technical peer, and strengthen cybersecurity and service quality across multiple sites. The role emphasizes IT architecture, incident management, and change control within a security‑critical environment.

Based in Brussels with full‑time on‑site work, the candidate should have 5+ years in IT infrastructure/security, and fluent French and English. Ariad supports EU SECRET clearance processes where required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure, networking or security.
• Fluent in French and English (B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of 3 IT Engineers and assign areas of expertise.
• Serve as main IT contact for the client and Site Manager, coordinating with client networks as a technical peer.
• Ensure SLAs, reporting and quality of service for the IT scope.
• Contribute to IT architecture design across networks, servers and storage.
• Handle day‑to‑day operations: installation, configuration, patching, monitoring and maintenance.
• Draft IT security rules and operating procedures; manage changes and configurations.
