Job summary

OPTIMUS IT SERVICES in Brussels is seeking an experienced IT security professional to help ensure security requirements are embedded from project start.

You will review assessments, support CISO decisions, and drive NIST compliance with cross-functional teams. The role requires knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001, SDLC, network security, and strong communication in Dutch or French and English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT/security experience.
• Knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Understanding of SDLC and application architecture.
• Knowledge of network security.
• Basic knowledge of IT Risk Assessment & Management.
• Experience with security topics in projects.
• Banking experience is a plus.
• ISO 27001 or equivalent certification.
• Fluent Dutch or French and good English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security requirements are considered early in projects.
• Review application security assessments with project/tribe teams.
• Support CISO GO/NO-GO security decisions.
• Collect and submit evidence for NIST controls.
• Coordinate with security and central teams on NIST compliance.
• Monitor and report security control progress and issues.
• Challenge and advise teams on security measures.
