Rhox is seeking a senior information security consultant to translate NIS2 obligations into practical policies and controls. You will support ISMS implementation and prepare evidence for audits and inspections, working with stakeholders and suppliers across the Belgian landscape.

The role requires a strong track record in enterprise IT security, ISMS deployment, and audits, with fluent English and proficiency in Dutch and French at B2 level.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in complex enterprise IT environments.
• 5+ years in operational or organisational information security.
• Proven ISMS implementation and rollout.
• Deep knowledge of NIS2 and Belgian transposition, CyberFundamentals.
• Experience with Agile and Prince2 for project management.
• Audits, inspections and oversight preparation and follow-up.
• Ability to balance cybersecurity risk with operations.
• Clear communication, independent work, leadership and stakeholder persuasion.
• Dutch (B2), French (B2), English (B2).

What you'll do

What you bring

• At least 10 years of experience in complex enterprise IT environments.
• At least five years in operational or organisational information security.
• Proven implementation and rollout of an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• In-depth knowledge of NIS2, its transposition into Belgian law, CyberFundamentals and related security frameworks.
• Project and stakeholder management experience, including Agile and Prince2.
• Experience preparing, supporting and following up audits, inspections and oversight activities.
• Ability to balance cybersecurity risks with operational objectives.
• Clear communication, independent working, leadership and persuasion across internal and external stakeholders.
• Dutch (B2).
• French (B2).
• English (B2).

Nice to have

• Experience implementing an ISMS according to ISO/IEC 27001.
• Experience in the public sector or social security.
