Job summary

In4Matic is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity and Business Continuity Consultant for a long-term assignment in a highly regulated critical infrastructure environment. You will help shape cybersecurity strategy, conduct risk assessments, and contribute to security architecture for railway-related contexts.

You will also support NIS2 compliance initiatives and lead IAM, PAM and PKI efforts while collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen resilience and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in IT, Information Security or related field.
• 10+ years of professional cybersecurity experience.
• Proven experience in security architecture and consulting assignments.
• Demonstrable experience with NIS2 compliance initiatives and regulatory requirements.
• Strong expertise in IAM, PAM and PKI.
• At least 1 year of risk assessments in railway environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

This role combines strategic cybersecurity expertise with hands-on risk assessment, security architecture and regulatory compliance activities. You will contribute to strengthening the organisation's security and resilience capabilities, working closely with various stakeholders in a highly regulated and technically complex environment.

• Advise stakeholders on cybersecurity, risk management and compliance-related matters.
• Ensure that security and resilience practices are aligned with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders throughout the assignment.

Profile & Experience

• Master's degree in IT, Information Security or a related technology field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity architecture and security-related consulting assignments.
• Demonstrable experience with NIS2 compliance initiatives and regulatory requirements.
• Strong expertise in IAM/PAM, PKI, risk assessment and business continuity management.
• At least 1 year of specific experience conducting risk assessments within the railway industry.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and security architecture within critical infrastructure environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in complex and highly regulated organisations.

Required Certifications

• ISO 22301 Lead Implementer.
• ISO/IEC 21500 Lead Implementer.
