Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in Antwerp is seeking a motivated Sea Freight Coordinator who takes ownership of the full export process, from booking to invoicing, to deliver reliable, compliant transport solutions to customers.

You will coordinate shipments end-to-end, confirm bookings with carriers, enter shipment data accurately, and prepare documents such as Bills of Lading and certificates of origin while ensuring data quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
• Experience with sea freight, ideally export shipments.
• Strong organizational abilities and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export shipments end-to-end from booking to invoicing.
• Confirm and manage bookings with carriers and partners.
• Enter and maintain shipment data in the system; ensure data quality and transparency.
• Prepare, review and manage all shipping documents (Bills of Lading, packing lists, certificates of origin).
• Ensure compliance with international, local and port regulations; collaborate with Customer Care and Customs teams.
• Optmize processes and work cross-functionally to improve efficiency.
