SOFICO in Ghent is scaling its Data & AI organization and seeking a Scrum Master to enable agile delivery across multiple domains. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove blockers, and coach teams to higher self-organization in a fast-growing, technical environment.

The role reports to the Engineering Manager, with a hybrid working model and opportunities to grow within a modern analytics and cloud platform team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in software development environments.
• Experience coaching Agile teams and driving continuous improvement.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is an asset.
• Scrum certification (PSM, CSM, or equivalent) is a plus.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support teams in adopting Agile best practices.
• Drive delivery cadence and coordination across multiple Data & AI domains, including AI Runtime, API & Saga, Cloud Ops, Knowledge, Governance, and Data.
• Remove impediments, manage dependencies, and proactively identify delivery risks.
• Coach teams towards greater self-organization, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor team health and delivery metrics to improve predictability and flow.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment across teams and initiatives.

We are scaling our Data & AI organization in our Office in Ghent, the team behind SOFICO AI Cloud and the Miles Enterprise Agentic Platform (AutoPilot & AutoRoute). Combining modern AI technologies, cloud-native platforms, and enterprise software, our teams build and operate solutions powered by Azure AI Foundry, Python/LangGraph agents, Temporal workflows, and Java/Quarkus-based Miles services.

As a Scrum Master, you enable the Data & AI team to deliver value efficiently by facilitating Agile ways of working, fostering collaboration, and ensuring smooth coordination across multiple workstreams. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you help teams stay focused, remove obstacles, manage dependencies, and continuously improve delivery in a fast-growing and highly technical environment.

What you’ll do

What you bring

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in software development environments, ideally supporting multiple teams or complex delivery organizations
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, dependency management, and communication skills
• Experience coaching Agile teams and driving continuous improvement
• Comfortable working in a technical environment; experience with Data, AI, platform engineering, or cloud-based products is a strong plus
• Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Scrum certification (PSM, CSM, or equivalent) is a plus
• Fluent in English; Dutch is an asset
