Uni Systems is seeking an experienced Project Management Officer to join the UniQue Brussels team. The role focuses on enabling agile delivery, facilitating Scrum events, and guiding teams toward continuous improvement.

You will support Product Owners, remove impediments, and champion Jira-based reporting to ensure transparency and predictable delivery across development teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of post-secondary professional experience with at least 3 years as a Scrum Master using Jira.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum principles, roles, events, artefacts and sprint cycles.
• Basic understanding of scaled agile concepts.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate Scrum events (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) and backlog refinement.
• Support Product Owner with backlog management and clear user stories.
• Remove impediments to help the team meet sprint goals and foster self-organization.
• Monitor sprint progress with Jira dashboards, reports and burndown charts.
• Coach team, Product Owner and organization on Scrum practices and continuous improvement.

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional Project Management Officer to join our UniQue Brussels, Belgium team.

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Facilitate Scrum events, including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and backlog refinement.
• Promote the adoption of PM² agile principles and support the team in following agile ways of working.
• Remove impediments that prevent the development team from achieving sprint objectives.
• Support the Product Owner in backlog management, prioritization, and the creation of clear user stories.
• Encourage team self-organization and foster effective collaboration and communication within the team and with other development teams.
• Document the team's agile way of working.
• Monitor sprint progress using Jira boards, sprint reports, and burndown charts.
• Coach the team, Product Owner, and the organization on Scrum practices, roles, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate the identification of lessons learned and the implementation of improvements arising from sprint retrospectives.

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Minimum 9 years of post-secondary professional experience + minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master and using Jira
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, including its principles, roles, events, artefacts, and sprint cycles.
• Basic understanding of scaled agile concepts.
• Agile mindset with the ability to support iterative delivery, transparency, flexibility, and continuous improvement.
• Advanced knowledge of Jira, including boards, backlogs, sprint reports, and burndown charts.
• Understanding of software development processes and sufficient technical awareness to understand team challenges and delivery flow.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Product Owners, managers, business users, external vendors, and other stakeholders.
• At least one of the following certificates:
• Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®)
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM I, PSM II, PSM III)
• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
• Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A‑CSM)
• Certified Scrum Professional ScrumMaster (CSP‑SM)
• EXIN Agile Scrum Master
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI‑ACP)
• Scrum Master Accredited Certification Offered by the International Scrum Institute
• Any certification being equivalent to the abovementioned ones
• Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, conflict resolution, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good knowledge of English
