Uni Systems is seeking a professional Project Management Officer to join our UniQue Brussels, Belgium team. You will facilitate Scrum events, promote PM² agile principles and support the Product Owner and team in backlog management.

With 9+ years of experience and Jira expertise, you will remove impediments, coach across the organization, and drive continuous improvement through metrics and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of post-secondary professional experience and at least 3 years as a Scrum Master with Jira.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum principles, roles, events, artefacts, and sprint cycles.
• Basic understanding of scaled agile concepts.
• Agile mindset with emphasis on iterative delivery, transparency and continuous improvement.
• Advanced knowledge of Jira boards, backlogs, sprint reports and burndown charts.
• Ability to coordinate with Product Owners, managers, business users, vendors and stakeholders.
• Strong English language skills.

Responsabilités

• Encourage team self-organization and foster collaboration with other teams.
• Document the team’s agile way of working.

• Coach the team, Product Owner, and organization on Scrum practices and continuous improvement.
• Identify lessons learned and implement improvements from retrospectives.

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Facilitate Scrum events, including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and backlog refinement.
• Promote the adoption of PM² agile principles and support the team in following agile ways of working.
• Remove impediments that prevent the development team from achieving sprint objectives.
• Support the Product Owner in backlog management, prioritization, and the creation of clear user stories.
• Encourage team self-organization and foster effective collaboration and communication within the team and with other development teams.
• Document the team's agile way of working.
• Monitor sprint progress using Jira boards, sprint reports, and burndown charts.
• Coach the team, Product Owner, and the organization on Scrum practices, roles, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate the identification of lessons learned and the implementation of improvements arising from sprint retrospectives.

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Minimum 9 years of post-secondary professional experience + minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master and using Jira
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, including its principles, roles, events, artefacts, and sprint cycles.
• Basic understanding of scaled agile concepts.
• Agile mindset with the ability to support iterative delivery, transparency, flexibility, and continuous improvement.
• Advanced knowledge of Jira, including boards, backlogs, sprint reports, and burndown charts.
• Understanding of software development processes and sufficient technical awareness to understand team challenges and delivery flow.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Product Owners, managers, business users, external vendors, and other stakeholders.
• At least one of the following certificates:
• Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®)
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM I, PSM II, PSM III)
• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
• Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A‑CSM)
• Certified Scrum Professional ScrumMaster (CSP‑SM)
• EXIN Agile Scrum Master
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI‑ACP)
• Scrum Master Accredited Certification Offered by the International Scrum Institute
• Any certification being equivalent to the abovementioned ones
• Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, conflict resolution, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good knowledge of English
