Johnson & Johnson’s Bioanalytical Discovery and Development Sciences (BDDS) team is seeking a Scientist to design and perform bioanalytical assays across their Innovative Medicines R&D portfolio. You will lead development and implementation of analytical methods using LC-MS and related techniques, spanning discovery to development, in a lab-based role.

The position requires a degree in analytical chemistry or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, strong MS expertise including

Qualifications

• A degree in analytical chemistry or related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven expertise in mass spectrometry including technologies such as Triple Quadrupole and High-Resolution MS.
• Hands-on experience in liquid chromatography.
• Experience in different types of sample preparation techniques (SPE, LLE).
• Proficiency with Mass Spectrometry and other data analysis software (e.g. Excel, Prism, SciexOS).
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong motivation to quickly learn new skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide bioanalytical support for New Discovery Paradigm (NDP) activities and discovery studies that enable NDP
• LC-MS bioanalysis of small molecules, peptides, ADCs and biologics
• Perform project activities through hands-on data generation with the right level of quality, and use advanced software tools for data analysis
• Conduct bioanalytical assays, manually as well as using robotic platforms, processing data, and preparing reports
• Explore automation and software related solutions to increase workflows efficiency

The Bioanalytical Discovery and Development Sciences (BDDS) organization develops, validates, and conducts bioanalytical sample analysis across the entire J&J Innovative Medicines (JJIM) R&D portfolio from discovery through development. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Scientist to design and perform bioanalytical assays within BDDS for Johnson & Johnson discovery projects spanning different modalities and therapeutic areas. This laboratory-based position offers the opportunity to lead the development and implementation of innovative analytical methods using chromatographic techniques and mass spectrometry.
