radiomics.bio is seeking a Scientific Project Lead to oversee data-driven clinical development projects for pharma and biotech clients. You will manage cross-disciplinary teams and ensure rigorous, actionable results at every stage of the project lifecycle.

You will translate client needs into plans, design analyses with Medical, R&D and commercial teams, and drive value through robust, reproducible methods and clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, data science, physics, biomedical sciences or similar.
• 5+ years of professional experience in project management.
• Experience in pharma/biotech environments is a plus.
• Proficient in Python and data-centric workflows.
• Familiar with Git and reproducible development.

Scientific Project Leadradiomics.bio is an imaging research organization which focuses on AI-powered healthcare, with unique expertise in radiomics, advanced statistics, deep learning and clinical research applied to oncology and other areas. radiomics.bio uses its proprietary technology to support pharma and biotech companies in all phases of clinical development to extract the maximum information from clinical trial images.

Radiomics.bio is an ISO13485:2016 and ISO27001:2013 certified company since January 2022.

We are looking to enlarge our project management team with a Scientific Project Lead.

1. The roleAs radiomics.bio's Scientific Project Lead, you will lead and contribute to the complete life cycle of advanced data-driven clinical development projects for pharmaceutical and biotech clients.You will operate at the intersection of project leadership, quantitative analysis, and scientific interpretation, ensuring that all project outputs are of top quality, methodologically sound and clinically meaningful.

Together with the commercial team, you will assess the clients’ needs and translate them into a successful project, leveraging volumetric, radiomic, advance statistics and modelling to deliver actionable insights.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of client projects
• Act as the first point of contact towards the client in the project execution phase
• Translate the client’s needs into a project plan (scope definition, resources assessment, timeline estimation, risks and mitigation strategies)
• Align and coordinate the internal teams to execute the project according to the defined plan
• Design, with the Medical, R&D and commercial teams, the statistical analyses and modelling plan and lead its implementation maximizing the value for the client.
• Develop reusable code to analyze quality control results, and adapt or integrate existing tools or analysis to meet client needs; working independently or in collaboration with R&D and Project Management teams.
• Drive the correct interpretation of the project results, together with the technical and medical teams
• Communicate complex methods and results in a clear, structured, and actionable way
• Ensure methodological rigor, validation, and reproducibility of all project work.
• Provide support for the success of the commercial activities

Support pre-sales by interacting with clients and contributing to feasible, scientifically sound proposals

Identify opportunities to enhance client value through additional analyses or insights

Be an active contributor to continuous improvement of tools and processes

2. Who are you?

You are the expert we are looking for if:

• You hold a technical or life sciences degree (e.g. engineering, data science, physics, biomedical sciences, or similar). A PhD degree will be considered an asset
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience, with proven experience in project management– experience in pharma or biotech environments is considered an asset
• You have a working understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. PMBOK, PMP, Agile)
• You are proficient in Python and comfortable working in data-centric environments.
• You are familiar with version control systems (e.g. Git) and understand best practices for reproducible and collaborative development
• You have a strong foundation in statistics and/or medical imaging, with the ability to critically assess analytical approaches and results.
• You are interested in digital healthcare and are willing to have a strong impact on cancer treatment by helping pharma companies and clinical professionals in their drug development and decision making
• You can translate complex analytical or technical topics into clear, concise insights for different audiences
• You demonstrate strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align and motivate multidisciplinary teams
• Combine a hands-on, pragmatic mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to keep a strategic overview
• You are a passionate, proactive, curious and fast learner, comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a team
• You have strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) – French and other languages are considered an asset
