Our Client is seeking an SAP Analytics Senior Consultant to design and deliver SAP analytics and reporting solutions that turn data into meaningful business insights. This is a hands-on, client-facing SAP Analytics role combining functional and technical analytics expertise with business analysis, solution design and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3-5 years of professional experience in SAP Analytics / BI projects.
• Hands‑on experience with one or more SAP analytics technologies such as SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud or S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree with an affinity for IT, technology or business.
• Professional fluency in English and at least one of Dutch or French.

SAP Analytics Senior Consultant

The role

As an SAP Analytics Senior Consultant, you will design and deliver SAP analytics and reporting solutions that help clients turn their SAP data into meaningful business insights. This is a hands-on, client-facing SAP Analytics role. You will combine functional and technical analytics expertise with business analysis, solution design and project delivery. You will typically work with technologies such as SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and S/4HANA Embedded Analytics. You are not expected to be an expert across every technology listed. We are looking for solid SAP Analytics/BI experience with hands‑on expertise in one or more relevant SAP analytics technologies.

What you will do

SAP Analytics solution design and implementation

You will:

• Design, develop, configure and implement SAP Analytics and BI solutions.
• Work with one or more technologies such as:
  • SAP Datasphere
  • SAP Business Data Cloud
  • SAP BW / BW/4HANA
  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
  • S/4HANA Embedded Analytics
• Analyse business and reporting requirements and translate them into functional and technical solution designs.
• Develop reporting, dashboarding, data modelling and analytics solutions based on client requirements.
• Support integration between SAP analytics solutions and relevant SAP or non‑SAP data sources.
• Test and validate solutions to ensure they meet business and technical requirements.
• Support deployment, go‑live and user adoption.

• Work directly with client business and IT stakeholders to understand their reporting, analytics and data needs.
• Gather and structure requirements through workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear analytics and technical requirements.
• Explain technical concepts and solution options in language that business stakeholders can understand.
• Advise clients on SAP Analytics capabilities and implementation best practices.
• Present solution designs, recommendations and project deliverables to clients.

Project delivery

You will:

• Participate throughout the end-to-end analytics project lifecycle, from requirements and solution design through build, testing and implementation.
• Take ownership of assigned deliverables or defined areas of an analytics workstream.
• Ensure your deliverables meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Identify technical or functional issues and work with the wider project team to resolve them.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, data specialists, architects and technical teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Produce project documentation, presentations, specifications and reports.
• Keep up to date with developments in SAP Analytics and incorporate relevant new capabilities into client solutions.

Essential experience and skills

You should have:

• Approximately 3-5 years of professional experience in SAP Analytics / Business Intelligence projects.
• Hands‑on experience with one or more SAP analytics technologies, such as SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud or S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.
• Experience designing and implementing analytics, BI, reporting and/or data solutions.
• Experience working across multiple stages of an SAP Analytics implementation lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of data analytics, reporting and BI principles and best practices.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working directly with client or business stakeholders.
• Good presentation and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.
• A proactive and results‑oriented approach.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree with an affinity for IT, technology or business.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Professional fluency in at least one of Dutch or French.
• Willingness to travel when required by the client or project.

Technology experience

Candidates should have practical experience with one or more of the following:

• SAP Datasphere
• SAP Business Data Cloud
• SAP BW / BW/4HANA
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• S/4HANA Embedded Analytics

You do not need experience with all of these technologies. The priority is credible hands‑on SAP Analytics/BI experience and the ability to learn and work across the broader SAP analytics landscape.

Experience that is advantageous

The following would strengthen your profile but is not essential:

• Experience delivering analytics solutions as part of an SAP S/4HANA transformation.
• Experience connecting SAP data to non‑SAPanalytics or data platforms such as:
  • Microsoft Power BI
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Databricks
  • Qlik Sense
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms and modern data architectures.
• Functional understanding of SAP business processes in areas such as:
  • Finance
  • Procurement / SAP Ariba
  • CRM / SAP Customer Experience (C/4HANA)
  • Logistics
  • SAP EWM
  • SAP TM
• Experience working across both SAP functional and technical teams.

What success looks like at Senior Consultant level

As a Senior Consultant, you should be able to:

• Own your deliverables: Take responsibility for a defined analytics solution, workstream component or set of project deliverables.
• Work hands‑on: Design, configure/develop, test and support the implementation of SAP Analytics solutions.
• Understand the business need: Look beyond the technical reporting request to understand what information the client actually needs and why.
• Translate business into technology: Convert business questions and reporting requirements into appropriate SAP analytics solutions.
• Advise the client: Recommend practical approaches based on SAP capabilities and analytics best practices.
• Work independently: Progress your area of responsibility while knowing when to involve more senior team members or specialists.
• Work cross‑functionally: Collaborate effectively with SAP functional, data, architecture and technical teams.
• Communicate clearly: Present technical concepts and recommendations confidently to both business and IT stakeholders.

This role is best suited to an SAP Analytics/BI professional with 3-5 years of hands‑on project experience who is ready to take ownership of solution design and delivery while working directly with clients.
