Conexus is seeking an experienced SAP Senior Consultant in Belgium to design and implement SAP solutions for manufacturing, quality, and plant maintenance operations. You will specialize in PP/PP-PI, QM, PM/EAM or IBP, support end-to-end projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across business and IT.

The role requires hands-on SAP experience, strong requirements gathering, and the ability to deliver functional design and specifications in a S/4HANA environment.

Qualifications

SAP Manufacturing & Enterprise Asset Management Senior Consultant

The role

As an SAP Manufacturing & Enterprise Asset Management Senior Consultant, you will help clients design and implement SAP solutions supporting their manufacturing, quality and/or plant maintenance operations. Your primary functional specialism will be in one or more of the following areas:

• SAP Production Planning (PP / PP-PI)
• SAP Quality Management (QM)
• SAP Plant Maintenance / Enterprise Asset Management (PM/EAM)
• SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

You are not expected to be an expert across all of these modules. We are looking for strong functional expertise in at least one core area, combined with an understanding of how your area integrates with the wider SAP landscape. You will work on S/4HANA greenfield implementations and rollouts, taking ownership of functional design and project deliverables within your module.

What you will do

As a Senior Consultant, you will:

• Design and implement SAP solutions in your functional specialism, such as PP/PP-PI, QM, PM/EAM or IBP.
• Analyse clients' existing manufacturing, quality or maintenance processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead or contribute to business-process design and define future ("to-be") processes.
• Translate business requirements into SAP functional designs and system requirements.
• Advise clients on appropriate solutions based on their operational requirements and SAP best practices.
• Configure and/or support the implementation of SAP solutions within your functional area.
• Participate throughout the implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, training, deployment and go-live.
• Work on SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementations and/or international rollouts.
• Lead workshops with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, present solutions and support decision-making.
• Produce functional specifications, process designs, test documentation, training materials and other project documentation.
• Manage and review the deliverables of team members working within your module, ensuring that work is completed on time and to the required quality.
• Work with consultants from other SAP modules to ensure that processes and integrations work effectively end to end.

What we are looking for

Essential experience and skills

You should have:

• At least 4 years of SAP implementation experience, primarily within one or more of the following:
  • SAP PP / PP-PI
  • SAP QM
  • SAP PM / EAM
  • SAP IBP
• Strong functional knowledge in at least one of these modules; expertise across all four is not required.
• Strong business-process understanding relevant to your SAP specialism, for example:
  • PP / PP-PI: production planning and execution in discrete and/or process manufacturing.
  • QM: quality planning, inspection and quality-management processes.
  • PM / EAM: plant maintenance, asset management and maintenance execution.
  • IBP: supply, demand and/or production planning processes.
• Experience working on end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
• Experience with at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation that reached go-live.
• Experience gathering and analysing business requirements and translating them into SAP solutions.
• Experience designing future-state business processes.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and process-modelling skills.
• The ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience working collaboratively as part of an SAP implementation team.
• Willingness to work in both national and international project environments.
• Professional fluency in English.
• A university degree or equivalent professional experience.
• The right to work in Belgium without sponsorship restrictions.

Experience that is advantageous

The following would strengthen your profile but is not essential:

• Functional knowledge of more than one of PP/PP-PI, QM, PM/EAM or IBP.
• Experience with related SAP modules or technologies such as:
  • SAP MM (Materials Management)
  • MES / manufacturing execution integrations
  • SAP PS (Project System)
  • SAP CS (Customer Service)
• Experience integrating manufacturing or maintenance processes with other SAP modules.
• Experience with multiple S/4HANA implementations or rollouts.Experience in both greenfield implementation and rollout projects.
• Experience coordinating junior consultants or reviewing the work of other functional team members.
• Experience in international or multi-country SAP programmes.
• Dutch and/or French language skills.

• Advise the client: Understand the business problem and recommend an appropriate SAP solution rather than simply implementing requirements as given.
• Translate business into SAP: Turn operational requirements into clear functional designs, configurations and specifications.
• Deliver end to end: Understand how your work progresses from requirements and design through testing and go‑live.
• Ensure quality: Review deliverables within your area and help maintain high implementation standards.
• Work cross-functionally: Understand the integration points between your module and the broader SAP landscape.
• Guide others: Support and coordinate less experienced team members where required.
