Job summary

Generations Recruitment is recruiting for a field sales role in Brussels, focusing on hot lunch stations in supermarkets. You will develop an established customer portfolio, hunt for new opportunities, and train store personnel to drive product placement and store setups. Fluency in French and comfort with English in meetings are required; Dutch is a plus.

You will work autonomously within a collaborative team, supported by a regional manager, to expand the business in the Brussels region.

About the role & company

Our client is a French company specializing in hot lunch stations in supermarkets, with 120 dedicated employees and a focus on genuine craftsmanship. Over two-thirds of the workforce is involved in in-house production, ensuring the highest quality by handling all processes from scratch – from making pizza dough to fresh vegetables and local meats. All products are 100% natural without additives, delivered with complete packaging solutions.

The challenge:

• Optimize sales growth in "proxy" supermarkets & petrol stations within Brussels.
• Develop direct business relationships with retail outlets in the region.
• Secure new store placements across various retail chains.
• Train and educate store personnel about our client products and corner setups.
• Maximize product placement and introduce new products, ensuring optimal corner setups.

About the ideal candidate

• You bring minimum 2 years relevant field sales experience, ideally in food or FMCG, with a strong understanding of Brussels convenience retail and an established local network
• You are a food lover
• You enjoy a mix of hunting and farming (50/50)
• You are autonomous, organized and accountable, while remaining flexible as priorities evolve in a growing company.
• You are fluent in French and comfortable participating in meetings and working with colleagues in English. Dutch is an advantage.
