Job summary

ASL Group in Liège is seeking a Compliance & Audit Specialist to oversee MOE and Part 145 regulatory adherence across the organisation. You will support audit planning, perform internal and external audits of contracted services, and track findings to management.

The role focuses on identifying gaps, implementing corrective actions, updating the SMS reference system, and ensuring staff training on MOE and SMS.

Qualifications

• Experience with Part 145 regulations and MOE is desirable.
• Ability to draft audit summaries and manage follow‑up actions.
• Experience in safety and compliance management within an MRO context.

Job description

Evaluate the ASLM organisation adherence to MOE and internal procedures, regulatory requirements and industry standards. This role ensures that the maintenance processes are compliant, risks are identified and corrective actions are implemented to maintain operational integrity and regulatory compliance.

Support audit planning, perform Safety & Compliance internal audits and external audits of contracted providers services, perform audit tracking, administration and follow-up.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Monitoring of Part 145 regulations (European and national requirements).
• Analysing data and producing defined dashboards.
• Draft summaries of internal and external audits to be sent to the Management System Manager (Security and Compliance Control).
• Participate in updating the SMS reference system and ensure its consistency in the area of ‘Part 145’.
• Ensure that all staff within the organisation are trained in the MOE and SMS.
• Ensure the level of compliance control required for MRO with regard to current regulations and the objectives set by the Chief Executive Officer.
• Identify gaps, risk and non-conformities and give recommendations on corrective and preventive actions.
• Follow up on corrective actions ensuring timely implementation and effectiveness.
• Ensure the development of the company's safety policy in its field (Part 145).
• Ensure that the MRO Part BE.145.27 approval remains valid.
