AYES Belgium is seeking a Safety Engineer to assess technical processes, identify safety risks and define improvement measures within industrial projects. You will conduct risk analyses using methods like HAZOP, FMEA, SWIFT and MOC, and provide specialized safety guidance through project lifecycles.

The role requires an engineering degree, Dutch and English fluency, and a proactive, independent mindset with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Safety/Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical/Civil.
• Experience in Safety Engineering, Risk Management, Process Safety or similar technical environment.
• Ability to translate complex technical and safety issues into practical solutions.
• Proactive, independent with strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsabilités

• Analyse technical processes, systems and projects to identify safety risks, improvement opportunities and appropriate safety measures.
• Perform and coordinate risk analyses and safety studies using methodologies such as HAZOP, FMEA, SWIFT, MOC or similar techniques.
• Provide specialised technical advice and support projects throughout their lifecycle, from initial studies and design to implementation and follow-up.
• Prepare, review and maintain technical, safety and project documentation.
