Position title: Safety Engineer

Location: Ghent, Belgium

Targeted starting date: September, 1st 2026 (or earlier if possible)

Duration: 24 months

You will become part of the Operations team and will get in touch with a wide range of production processes. As Junior Safety Engineer, you will support the Safety coordinator and Technical Director to achieve some main objectives.

You will be responsible for:

• Support the LOTOTO project.
• Conduct NOISE study (measurements in all departments)
• Updatingfactory safety signs in collaboration with the departments
• Updating the internal emergency plan (fire safety signage, emergency exits, escape routes)
• Convert internal emergency plan to Visio
• Prepare overview of fire detection and training
• Some administrative tasks (Planning medical examinations, follow up of the safety action list, support organization safety day…)
