Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an energetic VIE - Accounting Transformation Analyst – Record to Report to join our international Finance team in Belgium. You will work on transformation projects to simplify and automate RTR processes, leveraging data-driven insights and cross‑functional collaboration.

You will combine Finance, data analysis and project management, gaining hands‑on experience in a global transformation environment within an inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field.
• Internship or apprenticeship in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Controlling or Finance Transformation is welcome.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with interest in process improvement.
• Comfortable with data and Excel; exposure to Power BI, SAP or Power Automate is a plus.
• Interest in digital transformation, automation and continuous improvement.
• Proactive, curious and eager to learn in an international, multicultural environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with Finance stakeholders.
• Fluent English to work effectively in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Finance transformation and continuous improvement projects across the Record-to-Report cycle.
• Analyze existing accounting processes and help identify opportunities for simplification, standardization and automation.
• Monitor RTR KPIs, analyze performance trends and follow up on improvement actions.
• Support deployment and adoption of new Finance tools, systems and digital solutions.
• Investigate accounting and reporting issues through root cause analysis and contribute to corrective actions.
• Participate in workshops with Finance and Accounting teams to translate business needs into improvements.
• Support change management, communication and training activities linked to transformation projects.
• Maintain process documentation and share best practices across teams and countries.
