Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ghent is seeking a Room Attendant (Flexi-Job) to maintain clean, welcoming guest rooms and public areas. You will work weekends, keep high standards, and contribute to a warm hotel atmosphere.

Candidates should be fluent in Dutch or English, willing to learn, physically able for hands-on work, and able to work accurately both independently and as part of a team. Prior housekeeping experience is a plus but motivation matters most.

What will your role involve?

• Cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms and public areas in line with our quality standards.
• Replenishing towels, bed linen and guest amenities when needed.
• Reporting technical issues or irregularities to your supervisor.
• Assisting with deep-cleaning sessions and other specific housekeeping tasks.
• Working with a smile and contributing to the welcoming atmosphere of our hotel.

Who are we looking for?

• You are eligible to work under the Belgian flexi-job system.
• Previous housekeeping experience is an advantage, but motivation and a willingness to learn are even more important.
• You are available to work weekends (Saturdays and/or Sundays).
• You work accurately and independently, while also being a great team player.
• You are physically fit and comfortable with hands‑on work.
• You speak fluent Dutch or English.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ghent opened in late 2024. Conveniently located just outside the city centre, near the E17 motorway (exit U.Z. Gent), our hotel offers free parking and easy access by bicycle, e-scooter and public transport.

Getting here

Our hotel is easy to reach, wherever you are coming from. We are located at Akkerhage 2B, 9000 Ghent, close to exit 9 (U.Z. Gent) of the E17 motorway.

Coming by car? You can park hassle‑free in our spacious car park. Cyclists, e-scooter users and speed‑pedelec riders can easily reach our entrance via well‑maintained cycle paths, with bicycle parking available on site.

Public transport is another convenient option, with tram and bus stops within walking distance and easy connections via De Lijn.
